As we approach the 95th anniversary of the Pass Herald, this is the second issue of the year.

As we publish our last issue of the year, I find myself reflecting on what has been an incredible and transformative 12 months for the Pass Herald.

The permanent residents of the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass delivered a clear and decisive message in the Grassy Mountain plebiscite: this community supports metallurgical coal mining.

It’s often amusing to hear people comment or call me to say, “I saw something about you online.”
