Not every story fits into the weekly paper.
Beautiful Crowsnest Pass
As the reporter and photographer at the Pass Herald, I often find myself at the centre of everything from council meetings to community barbecues.
But not every story fits into the weekly paper. Some moments are quick updates, small milestones or photos that deserve to be seen even if they don’t come with a full article.
To help share those kinds of stories, we’ve launched a new platform: the Pass Herald: Community Updates page on Facebook and Instagram.
This page is dedicated to the day-to-day happenings around the Crowsnest Pass. It will include community announcements, event highlights, fundraisers, milestone achievements and snapshots from around the valley. It’s meant to be an extension of the paper that gives people another way to stay in the loop between editions.
If you’re hosting a community event or celebrating something worth sharing, this page is where you’ll find it. You can follow along by searching Pass Herald: Community Updates on either platform.
If you’re planning something, celebrating something or just think there’s a story worth sharing, I’d love to hear from you. You can email me directly at passheraldreporter@gmail.com with suggestions or photos. The goal is to make this page a reflection of the community itself.
