The Amazing Teen Race marked its 10th anniversary in the community on September 6, drawing a full roster of 100 local youth and more than 100 volunteers for a day of challenges, teamwork and celebration.
Hosted by the CNP 40 Development Association, the race has grown over the past decade into one of the community’s most anticipated September traditions. What began as a simple challenge has evolved into a full-scale event that brought together teenagers, families, local businesses and volunteers.
“Reaching the 10th Annual Amazing Teen Race is a huge milestone for CNP 40, and it carries a special meaning for our community,” said Stephanie Olsen, office administrator with the CNP 40 Development Association. “Over the years, this event has become a cherished tradition that not only brings together local youth but also unites families, volunteers, sponsors and community members in celebration. This anniversary marks a decade of fostering connection, teamwork and growth for our teens, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come.”
To celebrate the milestone, this year’s edition featured an 85-foot inflatable bootcamp for participants to enjoy during and after the race. The event also included 15 challenge stations hosted by local businesses and community groups, each year offering something new to keep the experience fresh.
Olsen said the race remained as popular as ever. “Registration [was] limited to 100 participants (25 teams), and we expect[ed] to fill up fast,” she said.
Feedback from participants and community partners has been overwhelmingly positive.
“Everyone loves this event, our participants, volunteers, sponsors and challenge…
